Chicken Kebabs are one of the most Popular delicious summer dinners! The tender, juicy Boneless chicken is marinated and grilled with Black peppers and onion and the entire dish can be made ahead of time.

What is Kabab or Kebob ?

These 3 terms are often used interchangeably. A kebab is a skewered meat dish that originated within the center East. A shish kebab is a kind of kebab originating in Turkey and that means a skewer of roasted meat (usual lamb/chicken) and Green vegetables. Kebob is an American or Western method of saying kebab, and each kebab and kebob refer to the delicious meal that is chunks of meat grilled on a skewer.

INGREDIENTS

Plain yogurt  

1/2 c.

plain yogurt 

cloves garlic

2(grated)

Ginger

1 tsp.(grated)

Garam masala

1tsp.

Ground Turmeric

1tsp

Lemon Zest

2tsp

Lemon Juice

2tsp

Kosher Salt

Ground Black Pepper

Boneless Chicken Breasts

1 1/2 lb. (Cut into 11/2 inch Pieces)

Canola oil, for grill grates

Red Onion

1 (medium size/Cut into 1-inch wedges)

Flatbread or Naan

 4Pieces.

Cucumber and Cilantro Yogurt Sauce

DIRECTIONS

How to Prepare :

  1. Combine yogurt, lemon zest, and lemon juice, ginger, garlic, garam masala, turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper as required in a bowl. Add Boneless chicken and stir to mix. Let marinate at list 15 minutes. 
  2. Heat grill to medium. Once grill temperature high then clean, and a Small Amount of oil grill grates. Thread boneless chicken and onions onto six large skewers. Grill, turning often until chicken Breasts is cooked through and onion is simply tender 10 to 12 minutes. Grill flatbread until lightly toasted, about 1 minute per or as per required both sides.
  3. Serve kebabs and flatbread or Naan with Cucumber and Cilantro Yogurt Sauce alongside.
